Hand Painted Chest of Drawers

One of the popular items of furniture to transform with a hand-painted finish is a chest of drawers.
Here we have a typical pine chest of drawers that was crying out for a new lease of life. Farrow and Ball White Tie to the rescue.
We gave this piece of furniture our usual TLC before applying a topcoat of eggshell paint.

White Tie is a pale creamy white named after the old, pre-brightened, starched cotton used for white tie jackets. One of our Yellow Based Neutrals, White Tie brings a gentle warmth to any room and is deepened with a touch of black pigment. Combine with Matchstick, String and New White for a delicate scheme with reassuringly creamy undertones.
